We know that Online Bookings may be old to some and new to others, and since Urban Beauty strives to make your customer experience a fantastic one, we’ve put together a list of FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) to help guide you through some of the processes.

How do I cancel a booking?

To cancel a booking, simply go to MY ACCOUNT on the drop-down menu for Beauty & Nail Bar, scroll down to the Order you wish to cancel, and click the SEND CANCEL REQUEST button. Once we receive the cancellation request and approve it, you will be notified automatically from our system.

*Please note that cancellations made in less than 24hrs of the booking may be subject to a cancellation fee. Once a booking has been cancelled, you may forfeit the reserved time-slot, and another customer may end up taking the new available time-slot. Also note that should you request a cancellation after payment has already been affected, it may take up to 2 Working Days for your refund to be processed (we apologize for this inconvenience).

How do I get a refund if I cancel my booking?

Should a booking be cancelled within a reasonable period (i.e. not less than 24hrs prior to the booked time), we will do our best to process your refund as quickly as possible.

*Please note that cancellations made in less than 24hrs of the booking may be subject to a cancellation fee. Also note that it may take up to 2 Working Days for your refund to be processed (we apologize for this inconvenience).

How do I change my appointment?

To change your booked appointment time, simply email admin@urbanbeauty.co.za and we will adjust the reserved time to one that is more convenient for you.

*Kindly note that your preferred time may not be available with your preferred therapist, or at all, however, we will do our best to accommodate you.

How can I make a group booking?

Doing a group booking takes a few additional steps but is pretty simple once you understand how our new online bookings work. To book a group, each booking per member must be done individually, but can all be allocated to one Cart/Order. Simply go to the treatment you want, choose your therapist for the first person, then the date and time, and then click Add To Cart. Now do this again and choose a different therapist for the same time-slot for each member in your group. Once you’re happy with your order, simply click VIEW CART, and proceed to Checkout.

*Please note that should your treatment only be performed by a group of therapists smaller than the group size, you may have to choose a slightly later time-slot for the rest of the members in your group. We apologize for this inconvenience.

*TIP – to check if the various therapists are available at the same time, simply select the date and time, and then change the therapist in the dropdown menu to see if your preferred time is available for each member in your group.

How long before the time do I have to book?

We try our best to accommodate everyone and their busy schedules, and therefore, you can book as urgently as you need to. However, we do ask to book at least one hour in advanced to avoid disappointment, and so that we can prepare your welcome to the Urban Beauty & Nail Bar.

*Please note, we get exceptionally busy during Summer, and bookings are made in a flash throughout the day, so book in advanced to avoid disappointment.

How long before the time do I have to cancel my booking?

Cancellations made within less than 24 hours of the booked time may be subject to a cancellation fee. You may need to contact us if this is the case, and we will do our best to assist you.

Do I lose my money if I do a late cancellation?

There may be a cancellation fee applied to your account should you request to cancel your appointment within less than 24 hours of the booked time.

*Kindly note that “No-Shows” may forfeit spa treatment(s) due to them and may not be able to claim a refund.

How do I add a treatment onto my existing booking?

Simply contact us on our telephone number, or email to admin@urbanbeauty.co.za, and we will add the additional treatment to your order, and book the allocated or available time for you.

*Please note that your new Order Amount will now be due.

What is the I’m Not A Robot function?

In order to prevent SPAM on our website, we have integrated¬†the new Google reCaptcha tool into our website forms and registrations. To activate this, simply click on the checkbox to the left of the reCaptcha text (as indicated in the video below), wait for the circle to turn into a check sign, and that’s it.
