Testimonials

  • I saw the article of UBA in the kuier ,magazine in Kimberley, My only wish was to come to cape town and meet Claudia. I was made the top student for 2015 and currently being paid to train to become a lecturer at UBA. I am very blessed and so grateful for this life changing opportunity.

  • I did not study at UBA but was personally trained by the owner Claudia Van Schalkwyk at one of her spa in waterfront. I was working for urban beauty for 3 years and received my training thru a apprenticeship programme. I had the opportunity to work abroad and the quality of my work was highly appreciated by management. I worked on the ships for 8 months and back in SA now. I appreciate the support and guidance I received from UBA.

  • My mom saw the ad in the newspaper and knew she had to come and see what the school is about. WE met the owner and explained that my mom is a single parent and cannot afford the studies. The travelling to school was tuff but I pulled thru, I am now working at Placecol Zewenwaght mall.

UBA sponsored my entire course for me and I am currently working in the work integrated salon earning money and gaining more experience. I am going to be trained as a full therapist by 2016. I am still grateful.

  • My family is all in eastern cape and I wanted to become a nail tech. I heard my friend told me about this place that trains young girls. I started in 2015 and I am still with UBA, full time employed because I want to learn more from UBA, they understand the fact that I am a slow learner and has patient with me. I am earning money on weekends at the UBA beauty salon to gain more experience.
